FRENCH MODERN POWDER ROOM
This project was to redesign a powder room for my client and make it more updated. The client wanted it to be modern with a hint of french. With the use of textiles, natural wood and textures I was able to achieve the look she had envisioned for the space. The ceramic tiles used for the floor really brought the space together and gave the french vibe in the space.
ORIGINAL SPACE
These are some images of what the powder room looked like originally. You can see its a little outdated and needs some upgrades. The original powder room didn't have any character and is very simple. The goal when redesigning was to make the space feel as large as possible since its a smaller washroom, as well as upgrade it to make it more modern and bright so it feels less like a "box".
CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
This is the concept board that was created for the project. I wanted the zone to be modern, industrial and edgy but with a french twist. The client requested french and industrial style and that is what I created in this space.
FINAL FLOOR PLAN DEVELOPED
This was the plan for the whole house, you can see how the powder room coincided with the rest of the home.
This was the final developed plan for the powder room. The french style tiles were my favourite!
